Friday night opening reception
Help us kick-off a great weekend during our opening reception! You’ll have a chance to meet our speakers, chat with other conference attendees, and see posters of research projects from the ORCA graduate students.
A cash bar and light refreshments will be available. The opening reception is included as part of your ticket price.
Breakfast: Saturday and Sunday
Hotel breakfast buffet: The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for $12.95. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, the chef’s daily special, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, pastries, baked goods, waffles, milk, and juices. It also includes hot cooked-to-order items, including eggs your way, omelets, pancakes, and French toast.
Nearby breakfast restaurants: There is a Dunkin’ Donuts half a mile from the hotel. Other nearby restaurants serving breakfast food include a Starbucks (.7 miles), Panera Bread (.7 miles) and Corner Bakery (.8 miles).
Saturday’s lunch will be included as part of your registration fee.
Saturday’s lunch will be a “south of the border buffet.” The buffet will include options for gluten-free and vegetarian guests. Vegan guests will receive a special plate.

Saturday Dinner and Award Ceremony
Saturday’s dinner can be purchased for $40 per person.
Join us Saturday night for dinner and conversation and for the revealing of the 2020 Anderson Award.
No on-site purchases will be available for dinner. The last day to purchase dinner for the conference will be February 8, 2020.

– Southwest salad – Exotic spring greens, jicama, red bell peppers, orange sections, cilantro, toasted pepitas and honey ancho vinaigrette

Option 1: Achiote marinated chicken breast with whipped sweet potatoes, asparagus & honey ancho chili sauce.
Option 2: Herb and garlic rubbed filet mignon with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, baby vegetables, and smoked poblano cream sauce.
Option 3: Stuffed Portobello mushroom with baby vegetables and feta cheese, served with creamy parmesan polenta and marinara sauce. (Vegetarian)
