ORCA (the Organization for Reinforcement Contingencies with Animals) is a student organization and laboratory research group within the University of North Texas’ Department of Behavior Analysis. ORCA undergraduate and graduate students help with planning the conference and volunteer their time during the conference to ensure its success. We would not be able to run the conference without their support!
The Edward L. Anderson Jr. Foundation provides grants for organizations that support the arts, education, and the environment. Edward Anderson was both an animal lover and an advocate for applied behavior analysis. The Foundation provided ASAT with very generous grants in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. This gave us the funds to launch ASAT as a non-profit organization and to expand our annual conference to two full days.
Sponsorship opportunities
The Art and Science of Animal Training Conference was created in 2009 as a way to educate animal trainers and pet owners about the science of animal training and “what’s new” in the field of animal training. Speakers at the event include some of the most respected experts in the fields of animal training and behavior analysis.
Every year, attendees come from all over the United States, and even from abroad! The majority of attendees are professional dog trainers or dog owners. In addition, the event attracts veterinarians, horse trainers, bird trainers and zoo keepers from around the United States.
Your company can make an impression that will last long after the event by sponsoring our conference. By connecting with the pet professionals and pet owners at our event, your company can strengthen brand awareness, build customer loyalty, and showcase new products or technologies. Your company will also gain wider recognition through exposure on our website and social media channels.
